𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
For the Steak:
1 beef steak (sirloin or rump, ~8 oz)
Salt & cracked black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
For the Potatoes & Mushrooms:
1½ cups baby potatoes, boiled & halved
1 cup button mushrooms, halved
1 tbsp butter
½ tsp dried herbs (parsley or mixed herbs)
Salt & pepper, to taste
𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
Cook the Steak: Season steak generously. Heat oil or butter in a hot pan and sear steak 3–4 minutes per side (medium-rare). Rest 5 minutes.
Sauté Mushrooms: In the same pan, add butter and mushrooms. Cook until golden and lightly caramelized.
Finish Potatoes: Add boiled potatoes to the pan with mushrooms. Season with herbs, salt, and pepper. Toss until coated and lightly crisped.
Plate & Serve: Place steak on the plate with potatoes and mushrooms alongside. Spoon pan juices over everything for max flavor.
